Zarnaq

Zarnaq ((ペルシア語:زرنق); also known as Zaraq, Zarnā, and Zerna) is a city in the Central District of Heris County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,766, in 1,132 families.
In the wake of White Revolution (early 1960s) a clan of Mohammad Khanlu tribe, comprising 35 households, used Zarnaq as their winter quarters. 〔 P. Oberling, “The Tribes of Qarāca Dāġ,” Oriens 17, 1964, p. 69〕
